There’s really only one day a year when people anticipate advertising—Super Bowl Sunday. That makes it a kind of television Mecca for adnerds.
So kids, it’s poll taking time: what’s your favorite Super Bowl commercial?

Bud Light – Upside down clown costume. I chuckle just thinking about it.
Last year’s Denny’s spot featuring Nannerpuss, the banana pancake octopus. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4kK6F7t-x6E
The best part of that spot is when Nannerpuss’ eye falls off. For Denny’s, the spot is right on strategically.
Curse you for making me think of Nannerpuss! That may be the worst ad ever made.
Some favorites are EDS’ Herding Cats, Monster.com’s When I Grow Up, and Bud’s Rocky-themed ad.

I think the bud commercial with the horses was the worst ad. I think they are pushing the limit of creativity with that one. Maybe next year they will leave the horses in the barn.
